This year, TIFF will feature TIFF Plus events in collaboration with a variety of cultural organizations.
These special events are aimed at promoting the festival and Tokyo itself to foreign visitors in particular,
with the focus on tourism + food, fashion, music, animation, e-sports and sports.

Tribute to Legendary Animation Director Isao Takahata

In memory of Isao Takahata, who passed away this April, we will screen his directorial debut film The Little Norse Prince Valiant and his last directorial film The Tale of the Princess Kaguya.
